Boiled Turkey Breast: Wow!

"Wow!" - Ran in my head when I bit that cube of turkey. That is so subtle, so extraordinary. The boiled turkey breast is a great food for weight reducing diet.

What did I do to get that taste? Simply by trying to have boiled turkey and stock.


Here's the recipe:
  1. Get a turkey fillet (min 500 g or 1 1/4 pound)
  2. Place it into cold water and bring to a gentle boiling. Remove the
  3. Add a bit of salt (half a table spoon)
  4. Close the lid and reduce the heat to have the water gently boiling under the lid.
  5. Add a bit of celery leaves. Leave for 5 minutes covered.
  6. Add half of a bay leaf, some rosemary, oregano and one thyme branch (follow the sequence, with 2 minutes between introducing these herbs)
  7. Add an onion
  8. Cover and leave for one and a half hours
  9. Add a few coriander seeds and a few black or white peppercorns
  10. Cover and leave for half an hour
  11. Turn off the heat and leave to cool a bit
To serve, just saute a few champignon mushrooms, arrange them on a plate and place a few slices of turkey fillet on top.
